14 Inch Chitlange Exclusive Kukri
The shape/design of the knife is made like that of the Chainpure however with improved and superior execution. The forging of the blade with large bevel from the tip all the way down to the notch makes the kukri very special and rare as this is a difficult process of crafting even for the skilled craftsman consuming him more effort and time.The scabbard is made of Indian Rosewood with carved designing by craftsmanship of the people of Chitlange. It is beautiful carved and embellished with brass binding, which makes it stand apart from other knives The large elongated bevel is forged to withstand the hardest blow, severe impact and to make cutting easier and more effective. This kukri scabbard which hold a tweezers, chisel, a scraper, checkmark and Karda, toothpick.The blunt steel called "chakmak" for sharpening the blade or for striking spark from flint and a little knife known as "karda" used for skinning small animals . The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade.
